My name is Marian Schuster, a drummer who became music manager not only by vocation and skills but also through education. I am a Romanian economist specialized in International Music Management after successfully graduating the Media and Entertainment Management stream of Inholland University, The Netherlands.
In 2010, I decided to launch the company MusicShow, a new brand on the Romanian music business market, a company in which I intend to capitalize and exploits my international advantage in the field. I strongly believe that Romanian showbiz will professionalize or perish.
Short professional biography
In September 2006 I decided to put on practice in Romania the school skills and the Dutch managerial experience. I did it on the site of the „European Capital of Culture – Sibiu 2007” events. The whole year I carried out artist booking services and I was involved and responsible not only in organising those events but also in the production process by beeing the events director in Omnitech-Group, the technical company which provided the services for all events of the European Capital Sibiu. During this period I was also involved in theatrical productions like the very successful one created by London’s Theatre Dreamthinkspeak „Don’t look back”. I also had the opportunity to contract and organise the concerts of many legendary artists like The Scorpions, Eros Ramazzotti, The Prodigy and many more.
In the spring of 2008 I joined the Becker Brau’s Live Music Club team in Bucharest as marketing/events director. I organised for this famous club the concerts of many famous national and international artists, corporate events mentioning some of the important clients like PepsiCo Romania, Procter & Gamble Romania, Antena 1 TV, TVR, Discovery Channell and also charity events for German Embassy Bucharest & Konrad AdenauerFoundation, Hospice – Casa Sperantei.
